Match Preview FA SF1 | Terengganu FC vs Selangor FC | Targeting For A Positive Result


Selangor FC will visit the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium for the first leg Semi-Finals of the 2024/25 FA Cup match against Terengganu FC at 9:00PM tonight. 

The Red Giants have won 53 matches and drawn 26 of 124 meetings between #SFCTER. In addition, 240 goals have been scored from all #SFCTER matches. The last time #SFCTER met in the FA Cup competition in 2022, which ended in a 1-1 result scored by Faisal Halim and Hakim Hassan. Sang Penyu ultimately advanced through a penalty shootout, winning 4-2. However, the 2024/25 FA Cup Semi-Finals this time will be conducted in a reciprocal manner.

According to Safuwan Baharuddin, Captain of the Selangor FC, wants the team to unite and face the challenge of the first Semi-Final round of the 2024/25 FA Cup, "We have used the time available to prepare ourselves to face Terengganu FC tonight. As for the player update, two import players from the Red Giants; Yohandry Orozco and Reziq Banihani will not be with the team after receiving red cards in the FA Cup Quarter Final match at MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya against Kuching City during the previous tie.
